Its been quite a long time to see any new flagship Android smartphone from Motorola, since it has been purchased by Google. Moto X is going to be the first Motorola smartphone that’s been manufactured under the supervision of new owner (Google). Yesterday evleaks had leaked the press photos of Moto X Android smartphone. Moto X’s official announcement will be made on 1st of August, 2013 in New York during an event hosted by Google. The device will possess a dual core 1.7Ghz CPU coupled with at-least 2GB of RAM to cope with today’s market demand for mid-range Android smartphones. 16GB onboard storage would be there in addition to the external microSD card slot for memory / storage expansion purposes.
Moto X seems to have a decent 4.5 – 4.99 inches of display having a 720p HD resolution. There will be a 8 mega pixels rear snapper while 2.1 mega pixels of front facing camera. 3.5mm audio jack on the top while volume rocker keys at the side. You could also observe a loudspeaker next to the rear camera unit. There are two microphones that indicate good noise cancelling capabilities or may be good stereo recording capabilities. Some sources also reveal that Moto X would be available in vibrant colors in addition to black and white variants. Moto-X will be equipped with Google’s Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean), and capable to be upgraded to 4.3 and 5.0 (Android Key Lime Pie) later on, but its still not confirm that whether it would be the stock android, or Google / Motorola will customize the Android OS for the upcoming Motorola’s smartphone that has been developed under Google’s name. Moto X would be priced at $350 – $400 price points.
