Today Sony has introduced a budget dual core Android 4.1 smartphone “Sony Xperia M” in two variants, one offers single sim support whereas the other one has dual sim support in addition to dual standby mode. Sony Xperia M has an elegant and premium sony’s OmniBalance signature design that was introduced in Sony Xperia Z. The device has a 4 inches capacitive touch display and also offers LED visual notifications for its one touch NFC operations, text messages, incoming calls & even alarms. Sony Xperia M & Sony Xperia M (Dual) are equipped with dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8227 processor clocked at 1Ghz with Adreno 305 GPU. There’s 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage and microSD card slot for external storage expansion up to 32GB. Sony has not yet revealed its pricing details however as per our estimate the factory / carrier unlocked Sony Xperia M will cost around $350 – $400.
The device is packed with 5 MP of rear camera with LED flash and is able to capture HDR photos and 720p HD videos. There’s also a 0.3MP of front facing camera for video calling purposes. Battery stamina mode helps to boost battery performance, Xperia M comes equipped with 1750 mAh battery. Xperia M features Sony’s one-touch functions allowing you to easily and instantly enjoy photos and music across an array of devices, such as Sony’s SBH20 wireless stereo headset and latest range of NFC-enabled BRAVIA TVs, with just a single touch.
